  1.  2:1  But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
  2.  2:2  That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in
  3. faith, in charity, in patience.
  4.  2:3  The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as
  5. becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine,
  6. teachers of good things;
  7.  2:4  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love
  8. their husbands, to love their children,
  9.  2:5  [To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient
  10. to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
  11.  2:6  Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
  12.  2:7  In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in
  13. doctrine [showing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
  14.  2:8  Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is
  15. of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to
  16. say of you.
  17.  2:9  [Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters,
  18. [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering
  19. again;
  20.  2:10  Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they
  21. may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
  22.  2:11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath
  23. appeared to all men,
  24.  2:12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
  25. we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present
  26. world;
  27.  2:13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
  28. appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
  29.  2:14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from
  30. all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people,
  31. zealous of good works.
  32.  2:15  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all
  33. authority. Let no man despise thee.
